About Tatar Writing Systems
Tatar (Татар теле) is a Turkic language spoken by approximately 5–6 million people, primarily in the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia) and across the Volga-Ural region. It is one of two official languages of Tatarstan alongside Russian. Tatar belongs to the Kipchak branch of the Turkic language family, making it closely related to Bashkir, Kazakh, and Kyrgyz.
